Thinking about glueing in my glass, but I need a decent mounding to cover the gap. This is the modern may and I like the look and the fact I don’t have to look for good gaskets. Does any one have experience or recommendations on what I can use to cover the gap?

Sounds like you already have the windshield glass that fits the gasket? My glass guy said he would cut a new piece of glass slightly larger so as to get rid of the gap for the gasket if I were to glue it in.

That is why I was asking about the trim moulding, might would allow me to use stick glass

Most glass shops have a selection of generic rubber trim to cover gaps. When I had a new windshield installed in my '96 Tacoma, the factory rubber trim was not easily available. The glass guy had a generic trim that he used, it looks great. I think he just stuck it down into the urethane that oozed out when he laid the glass in.

That is what I am searching for, some self adhesive trim. Can you take a pic of the taco?
