Going GPS, Speedometer cable delete

So I’m going with Dakota digital speedometer and GPS. My plan is to completely remove the speedometer cable. Any ideas for sealing the cable access point at transmission?

use the old cable, cut, remove the spinning parts, JB weld the hole.

Why rig anything...

The Dakota Digital kit comes with an electronic sender.

Put the sender in the hole and don't hook it up!

It's a plug in itself.

I've got a spare that came with my dakota guages I would sell for cheap.

I used my explorer VSS for the speedometer
