Well I brought a new (74) bronco home yesterday.
Plans are hopefully a full rebuild. Only time will tell, but at least I am starting out with a good body, only rust through is one inner fender near firewall. floorboards are pretty solid. rockers and doorposts are good. the bronco came from new mexico;D engine is dead--no biggie there as I am dreaming about a 4bta. well enough about that, here is a picture of it.

Either that or more than one person had really bad taste in paint schemes.

Yeah, the paint is ummm, well, yeah I think it needs to go.
And no, i didnt drive it from NM. The PO had bought it in NM and had it shipped up here. Then he had to move, so lucky me. I only trailered it from Anchorage to Kenai.

Hey someone stole my paint job plans!!:eek: Back in the early eight's I did some sketchings with color pencils of possible paint schemes for my EB. I had one very close to that, only mine was done with differnt shades of blue, starting light and ending dark front to back.:cool:. Now that I see the end result of what it could have been%). I'm glad I went with classic white over blue.;D;D.

Good luck with the new ride.

Thanks guys. I am pretty happy about it. I couldn't ever decide to tear my 73 apart. I always thought I could rebuild my 68, but its in MT. So now I have no excuses not to do a rebuild.
