got it out for a drive today

Nice day here, gonna snow tomorrow and all weekend, so took the opportunity and drove it to work and around town a bit.

No fast idle, seems rich, steering box and/or tie rods have a bit of play, transmission misses 2nd in drive, t-case will jump out of 2-hi on long high speed uphills... :p But it doesn't get hot, didn't die, and nothing fell off! ;D

Back in the garage to pull axles, replace entire front with built D44 and beef the rear housing with skidplate, drainplug, install the Hi-Nine and Yukons, and get the Saginaw and Astro hboost and master in.

And waiting on more small parts to get painted.

I'm amazed at the work in less than a year! You have done an excellent job. Thanks for positing up what you've done so far. I have several threads of yours subscribed to for reference.
