...I was a little surprised to find it had no baffles. From what I've read about EFI, fuel starvation from fuel slosh can be a problem.
I'm a little surprised too, since the normal deep tanks do have decent baffling. Or at least I thought so! Gonna have to go out and look inside mine to make sure.
Maybe they felt that the shallower tank does not need it as much?
I have not read of any real starvation issues myself, but that could be due to either nobody tasking their system that much, or they've done something about the lack of baffling. Such as adding a sump under the filter/pump assembly such as we have with our M1A1 tank.
I think Tanks Inc. sells them?
I am wondering if anyone has experienced any fuel supply problems from unbaffled tanks? Weather it be stock tanks, Sherman tanks or Aero tanks is everyone's new EFI motor getting enough fuel?
You won't have that kind of feedback from most users I don't think. The Sherman and the normal Aero (again, "I think") 23 gallon tanks are well and fully baffled.
I don't have any pics of the inside I don't think, but there are well designed plates in the Sherman.
I just don't know for sure if it's a problem or not.
I'm thinking it'll be ok for the most part at least, but I understand you'd want the best all the way down to that almost-empty point just in case you needed it.
Good luck. Hopefully someone here has some direct feedback for you.
