Brian, I recently did this and I too thought that those were too expensive. A quick look around town found no body clip. At the specialty bolt cabinet at the local big box home improvement center I found what worked just great and for only a few dollars. I found i/4" pan head bolts. Their heads are just the right size to fall into the slot for the chrome trim and slid along to the desired location. On the back side I used coneventional nuts with lock washers. Carry a piece of the chrome with you and try several head sizes. There is no way to hold the bolt head so I finger tighten the nuts until I could hold the bolt as it came through the nut. Good luck.

I don't know about those clips in particular, but I got a box of those expensive side molding clips at an auto body supply shop super cheap.

Hummm! That chrome looks familier Alan ;D Just kidding.

Brian,

I had to annie-up and get mine from Jeffs. I only had to use the sliding ones and they worked great. Might check the local autopaint store.

Good Luck,

Thanks again Andy ;D

I think you can probably get those front clips at an auto body paint and supply store for a whole lot less. But lodnirgs idea sounded pretty good too
