The ones holding the center section seem impossible to take out without ruining. Are the clips available anywhere? Or any tips at reinstalling?

Got an old parts grill stripped yesterday. Seems like it might be beyond repair, think I might turn it into a burger grill. How cool would that be? Better believe I will do I tech article if I do that!

Take a piece of the trim to napa and ask to seem thier trim hardware. They should show you a bunch of fasteners that are alminated to a piece of cardboard. Yopu find a fastener that will work but it won't be like the original. It will be all metal with a srung puice of wire that will hold it tight. Actaully what I used from Napa looked like a miniture version of what holds the body trim on.

Cool. Gives me a couple options. I won't sweat much getting those old ones out. Thanks again!

just take a small hammer and gently tap the small plastic pin that is the center of the clip back toward the front then you can pull the clips out when you put the clips back on tap the pin back in it will lock the clip in .good luck don

I like to take a small drill bit and drill the center plastic pin. All you need is hole about 1/8" deep. Then you therad in a small wood screw and pull the center pin out.

Hey thanks Jack! Hey, are we have a going away Bronco party for Mike or what? Nice and warm today. Would be good day for get together, looks like rain soon here though.
By the way, you don't have any belt line trim lying around, do you? Drop me an email.
