Anyone use Hagerty Towing? I had an issue this weekend and called Hagerty Roadside assistance. They couldn't find my information even with my policy number and customer Id# they wanted almost 600 to tow the Bronco home. Thankfully I was able to get it going and limp it home. Just curious what others experiences were.

I would be leery of having Hagerty towing or through any insurance company that puts restrictions on the vehicle's use. If you cant show you were using it within their restrictions - parades, car shows, mileage restrictions - they could easily refuse service or cancel your insurance. I use AAA - they don't care how the vehicle is being used. I could be wrong on this, but just my thoughts.

I have it but haven't had to use it yet. I have AAA as my primary towing option and they've been pretty good with the exception of that 6 hr wait in a smaller AZ town a few years ago...

I was less than 2 miles from the show when i broke down so that wouldn't be an issue. I have aaa too but the wait times are brutal, the only time i used it was to change a tire on the highway and I waited almost 4 hours right outside of Boston. I wouldn't change a tire on the highway let alone at night

I have used it twice in the last 2 years. Both times I didn't have any issue other than the app not working on my phone. I had to call the phone number and talk to someone, they eventually found my policy number and sent a tow truck. If the app would have worked, it is supposed to have all of your info loaded already and make it easy to dispatch. I would call them today to find out why they couldn't find your info when you really needed their help, I would also ask if they would have reimbursed you for the tow.

I also use AAA, and if you need to use them and are not in a safe breakdown area, they will bump you up the priority list to get you. Definitely helped me out when my daughter was broken down on a highway overpass with a small shoulder, AAA had a 2 plus hour wait time but sent a driver right away.

I had to be towed last year when I had a rear axle let go at the bearing and wheel and tire passed me. I was on the phone with Hagerty when a policeman stopped and called a tow truck since I was right outside a busy intersection. Hagerty ended up reimbursing me for the tow.

I have Allstate insurance and use their roadside assistance program. I have had good experiences with them over the years with relatively short (1 hour or less) wait time.
