Try some Jethot coated Hedman headers # 89410

You can order them direct from Jethot for a little over three hundred bucks including shipping costs and guaranteed for life.

The toll free number to Jethot is 1-800-432-3379

Then enjoy ya a good steak and a cold beer after your install ;D

:p :p :p It depends on were you are comeing from as to how hard headers are to put on. I run hooker wheel well and after cutting hole they go on with out much trouble and then are never in the way. I have put headman's on and they go not to hard. Doug thorley fit real nice and arnt hard, Just remember when you put them on wet the gaskits bolt down get hot re-torque let cool and do it one more time and you should be good to go. I put the last set on my bronco in 86 and still working good no leaks yet. Good luck with yours.:D :D :D Bill %) ;D

What do you think of Turbo Mufflers, That James Duff has in a kit? How do they compare to flowmaster.

Is there a dual flowmaster kit for a 351W? I went on their site but could not find anything for my bronco.

Thanks
Martin

I have L&L Headers and dual Flowmasters (3 Chamber) and it sounds great. L&L have Lifetime Warranty and you just can't go wrong with Flowmaster.

If you don't want to wake the entire hood on each crank and run down the street, stay away from 2 chamber FM's - THEY ARE LOUD.

Good luck,

I am also running the L&L Headers and Flowmasters, 2.5' duals. Low mellow rumble at idle, with some bark when you punch it.

im running BBK ceramic shorties and flowmaster 50 series mufflers on a stock 5.0L with 90 degree bends on the exhaust that exit before the tires. I love the way it turned out and ive gotten a lot of comments that its the best sounding stock 302 in town. But I have noticed a slight popping noise every now and then when I let off the gas. I think with such short exhaust with them being 2.5's the lack of backpressure is causing the noise:p

i have duals on my rig with some headers. they came with the truck when i bought it, and the flanges are like 3/8 in thick. they are long tubes and sound great with the 24" cherry bombs. problem is though i have this sneaky suspicion that i need to put a crossover in there somewhere. mine pops on decelleration (sp?) also.

L&L is the manufacter of the Ultraflow headers sold by Jeff's Bronco Graveyard. Long tube, heavy flanged, coated.

I too am running the L&L headers and dual 50 series SS FMs with 2.5 all the way out; or at least I was before I tore it down, but I plan to put the same exact system back on when the truck goes back together. Great sound, really growls when your on it. Not too loud when your at idle...but you can still hear it run...and maybe a few others too.

I was looking at the Duff headers. I have a 351W and was wondering if I would have any problems getting those headers in without having to lift the motor out of the motor mounts?

Also when you guys bought your flow masters did you get a kit that was bent the right way or did you take it to a muffler place to have it put together?

Thanks
Martin

No problems getting the Duff headers in. I couldn't get the drivers side up in there without taking the driveshaft out, but other than that..no problem.

I bought my flowmasters off ebay and then had a muffler shop custom bend everything to fit.

I had no problem getting the duffy headers on my 351w's. Don't waste the $$ on their coated ones. It starts flaking off after a couple weeks. If you want em pretty , buy the black ones and send em to jet hot. I have flowmasters on the 66 and it sounds good, but it's loud. It's gotten me pulled over a couple times. On the 72 I put borla stainless mufflers. Nice mellow low sound. Lots of mustangs have em.

The BC headers go in from the top easy install and fit all comon engine trans combos the 2 into 1 exhaust works the best and doesn't take up all of the room under the Bronco the magnaflow that comes with the kit is quite on the inside even when your on it and sounds great outside.
