Congrats! Post up some pics when you get a chance.
You originally from Indian Land? I live down the road in Rock Hill but grew up in IL/FM.

Yeah think has something to do with the color.lol
Special color may have been the incorrect term. The 1975 paint chip form for Ford trucks I found said optional at special cost. Sorry for the confusion, still working on my Bronco speak.
Haven't given an update in a while between hunting and tearing down the Bronco been busy. Had few spare minutes today as I am waiting on the frame to get back from PC. Had the frame and axels blasted. Frame went to PC and I will paint the axels after I get them rebuilt. Got a coat of primer on them for now. Small steps but they are in the right direction.
Next step will be rebuilding axels and converting to disc brakes, then I will install the suspension and get it to back to rolling chassis. Currently looking for coyote and 6 spd trans.
Well the cheap fun stuff, tear down, is complete. Frame turned out like I had hoped, I did a satin PC finish on my YJ frame as well. I can build from this although my wallet is not going to like it. Getting my parts order together to rebuild my axels this week. It is nice to be at the putting things back together stage!
What are the odds of two bronco owners building YJs in the same state? I have a 91 I’m fixing up along with my 77.
Here is a pic after I brought it home...doors and tailgate are inside. Like I said tub was shot, Flintstone floor boards on both sides, half the bed was gone and you can see thru both pillars on each side..good news most everything is on it or in a box in the back. With 62k on the clock other than the suspension it hadn't been messed with much. Gonna order a new tub from Dennis Carpenter, his shop is 45 min from the house, but I got plenty to keep my busy for the next couple years...
