There is, and this one was flagged for manual approval. Which means I see each message before it goes public. If it becomes obvious they're not legit, then they get booted. (before any PM privileges are given)

BTW, bot is probably not accurate here. True bots are mostly stopped with automated filters. The few that make it through (even to the manual review process) probably aren't bots. They're real people, just not legit.
