Saw these bad boys on MP yesterday afternoon. The kid selling them didn't know anything about them. I did some pretty deep googling and found the manufacturer. Superior Industries of Cali "Dakota".

He repainted them but that color is close to original. They are 15 x 7, 4"bs, which brings up some issues. I have 76/77 axles and knew they would be close. So close they just about hit, so will need to run a 3/16 spacer. That looks a little harder to get so I have ordered some 1/4" spacers.

They are in incredible shape for wheels from 1979.

Tires is the other issue. I want 35's as currently have 37's. 12.5 are too wide for the rims, even though a person or 2 will pop in and state "that's fine".

About the only option for a lot of road driving is the kanarti mud hog 35x10.5R15. They are out of stock although I could piece a set together from a few eBay sources.

I rang the dist and they told me there is a container of them due August 1st.

If someone knows of another tire in stock and no more aggressive than a mud tire, please chime in. Not a tire that is $300+

Not 100% on them with the orange but I was contemplating a diy grabber blue paint job as the old girl is a patchwork of colors.
