Hey gang I’m trying to get my sidewinder winch going again. Tore it down to find out the motor is toasted.
Talked with Steve at advanced adapters to try and get some information on the motors.
Evidently they had two types, one that mounted with four nuts from the inner case and another that mounted with the two long screws going through the electric motor case.
I have the later. Any help would be greatly appreciated .
The motor that came out of it was an Electron 45-1001.
Looking online it looks real similar to the Prestolite 4414.
I would rather just buy new instead of having this one reworked if possible. Thanks all
I’ll try to figure out pic...motor pic added to ‘My Garage ‘

There are still some good starter and alternator rebuild shops in Phoenix. They will take one look at it and know what you need. I don't know the name of the shop, it's my uncle's father-in-law's customer.
