Hidden tailgate latch

Anyone tried something like this?

My tailgate is fiberglass from Bronco Design so I’ve got a blank canvas to work with.

That's an interesting item! Not sure if anyone has used something like that, but there was a great thread here awhile back where a member has done an inside/reverse release lever I think. Great thread, with lots of cool body mods.
