Wow, wyldebill, that sucks. After that much damage to my body and Bronco, I would'ave been looking forward to putting that deer out of my misery. And now some poor sap has bad paint thanx to her. Peta is one of the biggest jokes in the country, but it also goes to show how strong the pussifacation of America movement is. The simple fact that an organization like that has gotten that strong and powerful just scares the piss out of me.

Glad to hear you and the Bronco made it through. I personally have found that meat from a deer hit by a vehicle is bruised too badly to eat good. I saw a small buck run into the side of a truck and broke it's neck. Truck was maybe doing 35 and never touched the body, deer hit sideways into the door and spun dead. I loaded him, cleaned him, and had him in a walk-in cooler in 1/2 hour. Most of the meat had the bloodied bruising (ground impact?) and didn't taste worth a crap.

i have had the same luck, really not worth it. unless you just want to take the horns;D

Glad to hear it weren't that bad.. ;)

The deer's opinion may differ %)

Nothing wrong with eating road kill. That's how I get most of my oppossum and squirrels! It also saves ammo but isn't always cost effective...
