Looking to pull the trigger on the Holley Sniper 2300 2 barrel setup, will this work with my intake? (It’s an aluminum Ford 2 barrel intake) Replacing stock 2150 carburetor. Very little room under the hood for adapters and such
What other mods or upgrades have to be made?
Would like to use all existing components including fuel tank and intake manifold

Here's the Sniper's bolt pattern, from their website.

Why not Ford Fuel injection?
Way better, parts easily available.
Really the best.

Because it will look stock when you open the hood. Doesn't look like a restomod.

Easy to install. A lot easier than Ford EFI.

All new parts. No collecting parts off 20+ year old stuff. No rebuilding harnesses. Not dealing with finding an obsolete mustang computer that the horders have collected. No rebuilding 30+ year old computers that have failing caps in them.

Holley got there act together. The Sniper runs mostly off the shelf parts. TPS, IAC, ECT, MAP, O2 sensor can be bought at any parts store. Nothing special like the old stuff. I think even the injectors are a parts store item, but probably not stocked.

Lots of good reasons to run a Sniper.

Well yeah, but besides that. LOL I agree.

For reference, I have taken an IH that had a factory Holley 2-barrel that had issues (one of the boosters was half missing and had signs of melting, mini carb fire isolated to a booster). Took the Holley off and put on a Bronco sourced Motorcraft. They interchanged perfect.

It was all non-EGR parts. I forget what Ford did when they put EGR on engines. I remember there is something about funky about doing EGR delete, been too many years since I messed with it.

I put the Holley Sniper 2V on one of mine with the 302, even has a mild comp cam and it works great. Set it up, fired it up, haven't had to touch it since. Just get in and go.

I'm thinking of going EFI where do I find more information about Ford Fuel injection?

Thanks,
Jeff
