I would like to get a cowl induction or stock hood.

Who has the best quality?

Should I go back metal or fiberglass?, I worry about fiberglass breaking and metal not lasting.

Is there a Polycarbonate or suitable strong material?

Ever heard of “Terra Comp” Hoods? any good? its seems to be the ones that most of the vendors use.

I have a highlander hood and love it. It is fiberglass but with the stock hood lines. it is really sharp.

I have a hood from Terra Comp and it is much thicker and very strong compaired to some of the others that are on the market, so do your home work on the quality of the hood before you buy. I love my hood. (now I just need to paint it) ;D

Here's a couple more pro flow's. Like Crawln68 mentioned, do a little home work on quality if that's what you are after. The pro flow is a very popular hood, but probably not the best quality. It's pretty thin and a little rough out of the mold but perfect for a trail rig that just needs clearance for a 351w. I spoke with the owner's of Terra Comp for quite a while yesterday at the SOB raffle. As soon as I get my wife's '73 going, I'll be going with the Terra Comp.
By the way, I like the looks of all the cages on this post!

Rob, does my rig look like a trail rig to you? And yes, my cage is pretty cool thanks to some dude up in Oregon i think.

I bought the non-deluxe model of the pro-flow and if i were to do it again i would probably get the deluxe model for a stronger and cleaner look under the hood.
