Took the tranny to get it rebuild down at The Shop in Ridgeview, WA. Phil got his c6 done there before the Baja 500 race. Jamie is a great guy that races alcohol vehicles and had a tranny shop. $300 with torque converter!! He even delivered it to my house!!!!

Heater path...

We decided to invert the corner of the inner fender to allow a better path for the heater hoses. :-*

We decided to weld in some steel rod to stiffen the front and rear fenders. Man did this work good!! You can see the welding and what it looked like after the bodywork and primering. We also decided to go another directions instead of gas flaps or caps.

Another modification. Bed struts to keep the Bronco butt from spreading. Between this and the tube steel under the bed this thing is awesome!!

It was almost ready for the Paint!! Then off to the Line-X place....

Same Bat Channel...Same Bat Time..

Anyone here enjoying this or should I stop? ?:?

I like the cut in the fender for the heater hose. I never liked how tight it was when working on those hoses.

You said your going a different direction than gas flaps or caps. What are you doing instead?

Put plate in with por15 under for cage reinforcement. Also put nutserts (which are available at ACE Hardware) on for ease of hardtop removal and installation. When you have rear inner panels there is no longer a need to remove them when you wnat to remove the hardtop!! :D

To make the body work and modifications easier we made a Rotisserie (sp?). :p

As you can see we welded up holes instead of just bondoing over them. You get another look at the fender stiffeners also.

..and you get the underside view of the inner fender modification for the heater hoses. whewwww.. :D
