Houston Area Meet and Great

I did a search on here using "Houston" and found a lot of threads related to mechanics and other things and each one of the threads had one thing in common. They all had something to the effect of, "we need to get together and grab a beer."

Well......lets get a date and place set. I know the holidays are going to have everyone spread out all over the place, but if we can get something in the next couple of weeks, I think we could have a decent crowd. After that, I would think we would need to hold off till after the middle of January.

I'll through out a date someone else through out a location. I'm thinking either December 13th (Fri) or the 14th (Sat).

Any takers?

Depending on date, time and location I am in. If you want to be able to check out trucks and such probably needs to be Saturday during daylight hours.

Do they still do a Cars and coffee thing up in NW Houston(249&Louetta area). It used to be the 1st Saturday of the month, been wanting to attend. Ive seen at least a dozen EB's in the Spring/Tomball area since we moved there a year ago. Be great if we could meet up at this venue...

I'm free both dates. Especially if it is in Houston (not too keen on making it outside of the loop)

I feel the same way, but will make an exception ;D

Where in the loop are you? I'm at roughly Washington and Studemont.

I would most likely make an exception as well to meet up. I'm right by Reliant Stadium about a mile outside the loop off Stella Link.

I can do the evening of the 13th or lunch on the 14th. I'd be out if we went with a evening on the 14th. As for as where, it seems most are suggesting somewhere on the West side, close to the loop. I have no knowledge of the area, so I will stay out of that.

I like the idea of a lunch time gathering, better light for checking out the Broncos. Does late lunch, say 1pm on the 14th work for most?

If that time and dates works can someone nail down a good location?

I totally missed this thread. I travel a bit, but would enjoy meeting up with fellow Houstonian bronco enthusiasts. Also...it has to be a blue sky day for me show up in the Bronco as I currently don't have a top on it. I say we start throwing around some January dates. I live down in the heights and up for the occasional ad hoc meet ups.

Just catching up to the thread. Last time I met up with the LSBC was at the Armadillo Palace at 59 and Kirby. Jeez, that was 5 years ago and my LUBR was still "untouched" and pure stock. (not so much any more)

How does Jan 3rd or 4th work for the group? Or the next weekend? I'm IN! Someplace central is best, as I'm South of town and Coffee and Cars is a haul for me.

Cheers, B2

I would also be interested in meeting. I live in Santa Fe and have 3 friends that have early broncos that go on rides with. Also for you Houston area bronco owners, does anyone know of a good place to have paint and body work on a bronco.

Uzi's Autohaus on Bellaire Blvd will do a great job for you. That's where I'll have mine done. Ask for Uzi and tell him Brian Uffelman sent you.
