I would also be interested in meeting. I live in Santa Fe and have 3 friends that have early broncos that go on rides with. Also for you Houston area bronco owners, does anyone know of a good place to have paint and body work on a bronco.

Hey Valdez,
Tim and Rex at Main Street Paint & Body in Pearland are super honest and will do whatever you need. They do all my work.
Phone is: 281-485-8542. You can check out pics of mine in my garage.

2pm at Big Woodrow's works for me. I'll try to get a note out to LEBC if we confirm that time and date. Hopefully we'll fill the lot!

I should be able to make 2pm on Saturday. Playoff football starts at 335pm which we may have to contend with for parking at Woodrow's. Another alternative in that area is Texadelphia on Westheimer (football here too but they have a pretty big parking lot). I can suggest some places closer to downtown if needed.

Yeah the lot at Texadelphia looks huge. I'm game for there. Lets try it out. I'm gonna change my post so there is no confusion.

Are we still on for tomorrow at 2pm? Hopefully can get at least a few Broncos out.

We had 5 Broncos show up yesterday, each one different and unique.

Helo-mech has a 76 bought new by his grandmother and still in the family, all original and is driven everywhere.

bsquared has a very nice (70 I believe) that has a lot of nice upgrades and uncut. Everything is very nicely done on his Bronco.

Scott G. (didn't get his forum name) has a nice original 77 uncut with all the options. It's orange and white with houndstooth interior. I believe he may be selling, or trading.

Mine (Fairlane514) is a plain Jane 76 with a 3.5 lift and 33x12.50x15 tires on 15x10 wheels. I moved the 3 speed to the floor and found some Craigslist bumpers made of tube steel.

Then we all met Scooter. I know him through my brother and he is a character that has been into Broncos forever. He brought one of his eight Broncos and after a lot of talking and visiting we all went to his house to see the other stable mates.

He has two Broncos in the front yard, and the rest hidden in his backyard. He has different levels of Broncos from hardcore to projects. Scooter is a great guy with a lot of parts and trucks for sale. He is here in Houston if anyone needs parts or advice.

Even though not too many Broncos showed up, it was nice meeting some fellow Bronco owners.

Agree with everything Fairlane514 said. Good to meet some fellow Houston EB owners. Maybe we can get an every other month or quarterly meet going and get more folks out.

I was great getting together. I learned quite a few things and got some great ideas for mine moving forward. Being the last one in line as we were all headed to Scooters, it was fun to look at all the turning heads and faces as we all drove by.

I'm definitely down for some regular get togethers. Bill hit up the LEBC and see if those guys have a suggestion for location.

If anyone is up for a hour long road trip from the Northwest side of Houston, there is a 50's style diner at the Brenham airport. Poodle skirted waitresses and music.

Its a really nice little airport and the diner is popular with the flyboys. I have also seen other car clubs there as well.

Brenham is straight out west on 290 towards Austin. Blue Bell ice-cream is made there.

I've flown into there for lunch a handful of times.

If any of y'all in South Houston meet up soon I'd be in for it with some heads up. The holidays had me all over the place.

I'm in Friendswood.

I would mind if people wanted to grill at my place. I have a big back yard.

I like each of these ideas. As we get closer to maybe the middle of FEB I will bump this back to the top for the next location.
