How can you tell the difference between D20's? (J and T shift)

Is there a way to tell if you have a J or T shift D20 just by looking at it? I have two (one of each) and need to know which is what....

the shift rails on the j-shift will have little plates, and the t-shift will be slotted and have a hole for a retaining pin...does that make sense?

check out the following ebay ad. In the photo, is that the slotted & pinned shift rail design mentioned in this thread?
For the "J" style, are the rails are round then flat at the end and drilled? Ebay Link

If so, I was told I misidentified the J-shifter and NP435 I have listed in another auction. :-[ Feel free to check out the other auctions. ;D
