I need to fix the wiring going to my voltage regulator and am trying to figure out how to remove the spade connectors in the black plug so I can replace them. Any tips? I know I can get a whole new pigtail from Jeff's, but would rather spend a whole $3.00 at the autoparts store.

Use a fine probe, or maybe even a paperclip. Jam it in between the flat side of the metal terminal & the plastic shell, dead center of that cavity, and it will depress the metal tab that retains the terminal. Then pull the terminal & wire out of the shell. Before reinstalling, bend the tab back up so it hooks securely.

Steal one of your gals heavy duty sewing needles and blunt the point. Then use that to probe and push down the brass tab in the spade terminal. Some times you have to push the terminal deeper into the holder before you can push the tab down. once you push the tab down do not remove the needle just push out the terminal.
