How hard is it to repair or modify your bronco with a bedliner?

I am considering bedliner for my 68 frame off, really decent shape body bronco with new paint that I plan to use on the trails, camping and cruising.

I am considering a bedliner (DIY roll on, spray on, Rhino, Line-X, Al's liner, Bills Liner etc etc ) as it seems to be a great utilitarian decision if you are gonna wheel your bronco....However, if you are gonna wheel your bronco you are eventually probably gonna have to weld or do body work for a repair or modification.

How hard is it to repair or modify your bronco with a bedliner? For those that have had to remove bedliner to repair or modify your bronco was it worth having it on??

bedliner will come off with a heat gun or a wire wheel. Its not impossible to remove, just a pain.

it is worth having, as stated above it can be removed with a grinder, heat, wire wheel, whatever best suits your needs and can easily be "spotted" in onceyour repairs are done.

I've torn out many different bedliners, they aren't hard to get out with a little mechanical means. Some are easier than others, the rubberized ones are a mess. I ripped Line-X out of an entire truck bed in an hour once, so you can do it.

Some are easier for touchups. I had one truck that needed some welding done that had Al's Liner in it. I got a brand new razor blade and, pressing REALLY hard, outlined the section I wanted to remove. Then I got a hammer and chissel and knocked it out. Took me a while, but I got it out. Then I just welded the spot and resprayed the Al's in the area. Good as new.
