I would like to get an idea of how many out there are looking for these, If there is no real interest, then there is no need for me to make them...
Thoughts?
Thanks

Maybe give it a little longer than 24 hrs. I'm also moving this to Bronco Chat since it's more appropriate there and you'll probably get more eyeballs who are interested.

I haven't run a hard top for decades, so no interest from me. :)

Reamer, I would be interested, it's just that I'm so far away from getting to this top! It is not in good shape, and am not sure if "I" can save it. But just curious, how much would sliders cost?

I’m interested in knowing more... are you going to make 2 piece glass or 4? Something modern and black anodized or oldschool silver aluminum?

I'd certainly be interested, but it would really depend on the design, functionality and aesthetics. Toms Bronco recently released their version of a slider window, but I am not a fan. Too modernized, flushed and blacked out for my tastes. I'd like to keep as much of the stock look as possible while adding the ability to let air flow into the back. Attached is a pic of the set I had on my bronco for the last 30 years before I started the resto. These were too ratty to reuse, and nothing else on the market seems to be right.

I would be interested as long as they were similar to old school style like thiswildbronco above or the more recent ones made by CR Laurence that appear to no longer be available. My first preference would be silver/bare frame and clear glass. But, I could live with black frame and clear glass.

thiswildbronco: Did you happen to hold on to the windows? Perhaps you and reamer could work something out for him to use those as a template.

Sorry, I’ll be more clear- I prefer the old school look of silver/bare alum or anuldized frame- and like both styles of opening in the middle and sliding 2 piece glass. I would buy at least one set of not more. I have more than one of the old box Broncos.

Would you be willing to ship them to me (for modeling) I can send you some replacement solids for now. Where are you located?

Mine will be like the "originals," I now know why the originals slid for only 1/3 of the glass plane, the top opening for the glass is pitched narrower to the rear by 5/8", therefor, the "taller" glass pane right behind the driver and passenger seats have limited travel....

any mock ups? I'm not sure I know what the originals look like. Also, how will they mount? Meaning the factory seal style? Or larger that are just glued in like modern cars? I have seen a few guys do this with the windshield where it removes the factory "rubber". Just a thought.
