How Many quarts of oil in transmissions?

I want to replace the oriole on my 3 speed transmission. I don't know how many quarts I need? Thanks in advance

3.5 pints according to Chilton's.

I used 75w-90 but I've seen other suggest 50 weight. I went with 75w-90 so I could use it in the tranny, transfer case, and diffs.
