Hey Guys,

I opened a thread about this a few months back but didn't really get anywhere with it and now i am ready to actually do it. I have my truck down to the frame as i am installing a coyote motor (Nightmare) but i would like to do Fox Racing suspension. I want it for the look, not for the crazy off road capabilities. My raptor has it and i use that for the dunes..

Anyways my shop that is helping do this install are willing to do it but we just need some guidance on what to order and what we need to make in order for it to work? any suggestions?

Do we make our own shock towers? Do we delete the rear sway bars? Etc Etc...

Thank you

Have you thought about contacting Fox Racing directly??? Since they engineered it, they may be able to help.

You will need to work with a good fab and suspension shop as you can spec the mounting style, length, valving, reservoir type, shock size and so on. Just ordering a generic shock will yield generic performance.

pretty sure the duff linked suspension kits can use coilovers instead of coil springs. that would be my first call.

other than buying a kit you're looking at designed and fabbing up a complete suspension system to goto coilover and you definitely want sway bars front and rear. this should be done by a shop that does it everyday.

anyway i assume your looking to do coilovers? google early bronco and coilover. you'll find lots of pics to give you ideas of what it takes.
