How to clean / remove window gasket gunk

I took the windows out of my hard top.
How or what did you guys use to clean the remaining tar like gunk that they use to seal/lubricate the opening the seal goes on??

Goof Off works pretty well, but that is sticky stuff. Home Diaper has it.

Your local paint supply shop will carry a composite wheel that attches to your drill motor. The composite material feels just like a rubber eraser from elementary school.
