how to tell difference between t and j shift t cases??

I have an extra t case that i got with some other stuff. How can i tell weather it is j or t shift?? it is pretty much just the t case. It had a dana 44 attached to itbtu that does tno necessarly mean anythign. any help would be good/ is there a diff at the shift rails??? thanks

If it had the actualy rails still in it the J will have plates(for a lack of a better word) attached. The t-shit rails will just be slotted with a hole for a retaining pin.
