Picked this one up today for 4k. It runs/drives good (302) power steering, drum brakes, but does have a couple of oil leaks (rear main seal, and oil pan gasket). It does have some rust along both rear seams, and the drivers floor has been replaced, but has a lil rust along where the carpet meets the rocker. The passenger floor is solid, as well as the door posts and the bulk head. The bed and the tailgate has a few rusting bubbled up spots. Automatic shifts good, running a lil rich, but it's not too bad. Has a lil hole in the drivers quarter, and everything works on the truck. Needs wheels, and tires (for my taste). And this is a factory U14 half cab, that came out of TX. Let me have it good, or bad.

In my opinion, that is a great deal for a half cab in that condition. I would think you could easily get $5k-$6k for it as is.

I think you did very well. Looks great! Red bumpers are a little too matchy matchy, I'd get a set of stockers and rattle can them argent along with the inside of the grill and the wheels, clean up the rust and all it a day!

You did great! Keep after that rust though. Hope to have a composite half cab on mine this fall if I get the molds done later this summer. All you need are tunes and you're good to go. I'm jealous. Enjoy.
