I recently purchased to two HydroBoost units off of a forum member, these are different and do not have the metal rods sticking out which usually activates the master cylinder, am I missing something or does this take different style of master cylinder to work properly?
Part numbers or specific make and model of what I am looking for is appreciated.

You need a GM master cylinder with just a divot in the piston instead of the Ford unit with the deep hole. Camaro for disc/drum and Corvette for disc/disc. Other options are getting (or making) a slug to put in theFord master cylinder piston or buying a longer rod for the hydrobooster.

Thanks I just bolt it up and don't use any kind of pushrod (just making sure I am not missing anything, see last pic only see the piston itself)? This is my first hydroboost install...

Needs to have a pushrod, spring, and retainer in it. I can't see the details on my little phone screen :)

Maybe I can look for that for you next week if I can make it to a junkyard to look for the return fitting too.
