It is coming along great and I have finally taken some pic's ( I know everyone loves pic's as do I).

I hope to have her on the road in 6-8 months.

It kills me every day I go to work and she is just sitting there.

Please let me know what you think.

Matt

Dude, That thing looks AWESOME! You're doing a great job. What color is the paint? Looks like you did the same thing I'm gonna have to do to the core support in front of the battery.

The color is a one off gun metal gray... it can not be duplicated so please don't try (just kidding). If you want the details of the color just pm me. Those pics were taken in the garage. It looks insane in the light of the day. I will ask George what the code was. As long as you promise to never move to CA. :)

Looks like you are having fun, Matt.
Did your neighbors let you paint in your garage ? I am here in University City,(San Diego, by the 5 & 52) and I am about to start the same thing. I can bet one or ALL of my neighbors would complain. ( Are going to...?)

I had George at GR Engineering do all the paint and body. It took him about 6 months to do it.

I'm having difficulty concentrating on work while I think about how nice it looks in the engine bay. Very nice job.

Also kudos to your wife for her support during this project. It would not look as nice as it does without a woman giving you the help, time and space that you need.

Thats going to be a nice one.

Yep, that engine compartment is so clean, I wouldn't want to eat off of it and make it dirty!

My wife once referred to our Bronco as "she". The darned thing died stone dead right there! They really do have personality!

George spent about 30 hours alone working on the engine bay and he welded up about 50 holes on the truck!!!

I think (Read as hope !) that I will enjoy doing it myself. I figure I will get the practice from doing the engine bay, interior, etc, and I am not going to paint a metallic, just the basic red. The body is straight, so prep is minimal.
Your paint job looks VERY nice. I am sure it was worth the time and money!
