Our local dealer got one so I drove by and parked outside the locked gate to look with my son. He said he likes the old ones better, I said "Well, yeah son" then smiled with pride. I'm pretty happy with the new look, just don't care for the four door version.

I bet women see the four doors and think “Yes! I could probably fit a lot of kids in there. “

I saw three more on the road since Thursday. But all were going the other way on the highway. One was all black with the squatch package. It looks pretty good. I want to take a ride to the bigger ford dealer near me and see if they have one there.

I really think the tires and wheels make or break these new ones. I have yet to see a two door.

So I just to go up and double check the sticker price. $49,380. Then.....(insert pending doom sound) the salesman came out and offered to let me to drive it and then PLACE AN CUSTOM ORDER FOR ONE. NOT THAT ONE for now....

I asked what if I want to buy THAT one now. He said if I want THAT one I can BID on it (current bid is 55,000 and changes often) and then wait 6 months to see if I win.

Other wise he said the EXTIMATED delivery on my ordered one could be 2021, 2022, 2023....followed by a laugh. Nice kid just being honest.

I am glad I was to busy taking the grandson fishing to test drive it. Fixing to go set the hook in some other fish, instead of the other way around.

Saw a black, 2-door Outer Banks parked prominently out front of a Ford dealership in West Bend, WI on Sunday. First one I've seen in person, pretty cool looking rig. There were no stickers of any kind in the windows, probably belonged to the manager or owner. Don't think i'd like a 4 door version though

Test drove a 2 door Outer Banks tonight, Antimatter blue with a hardtop. (demo/mannequin that can't be sold). Not in the market for a new ride and sure handled nice compared to my 16 & 27 yr old DDs....
