Ok, maybe it's more for me then her, but she doesn't need to know that.;)

This is the infamous chicken farmer EB with only 11k on it. It was an interesting day. I met up with Dave "Radcliffe" and helped him take the seat and the bulkhead out as I sold it to him and since we were in his neck of the woods decided to do it at point of purchase.

I ended up hiring this young guy as I don't have a toy hauler to bring it home for me. After we got it loaded up, we stopped to gas up at the end of the road and a guy comes up to us wanting to buy it!
"How much did you pay for it?"
"750"
"How much you want to sell it for?"
"3,000" I didn't want to sell it, but if he's askin'.
"Can I have your number?" Then introduced himself to me as Bozo the clown. I didnt' get it, didn't ask. Think it was a nickname or something. He entered my number in his phone and off we went. I was in a different truck and the guys hauling it said they got a couple of thumbs up on the way back. I told them that was typical.

Kids were pretty excited when they got off the bus to see another EB in the driveway!

So here it sits. Happy Valentines day. (to me);)

More pics. Interesting fun facts. The jack was still in it's protective plastic baggy from the factory. (Well it looked factory, anyway.)

Not a crack in the steering wheel.

SWEET!!! What are the plans for it.

For right now, trying to keep it from not rusting off the frame.;D It's in pretty bad shape. A couple more New England winters and it would have been strictly a parts truck. Even though it was kept in a barn, mice got to it so I am not looking forward to seeing the what's been left behind, behind the dash. They are almost worse then rust.

Long term plans for right now is to eventually swap in an automatic so the wife can drive it around. She saw it parked and made the comment "that is so cute!"%) I can tell the idea of driving it is growing on her (just like I did). It is going to take on the stock look, no lifts, get rid of the plow, or put it on my Cherokee. Keep it uncut, thus giving myself the go ahead to cut my other one. Sorry, I just really like the open wheel wells if you are going to put bigger tires on it, so EB 1 is probably going to go under the knife.

I took extensive mental notes on the process of firing up a motor that hasn't seen a spark in over 20 years from Dave. This should be interesting. I do want to get it running at least for the rest of this winter so I can use it to plow, but that just may be asking a little too much of the ol' girl. But then, she's had enough rest. :)
