• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I am looking for a body mount for my 68'- specifically the driver's side front body mount.

for some odd reason my EB came without the front mount- it has the frame mount but no body mount and it is just sitting on the body... ouch!

let me know, will paypal or paybeer.

Ryan,
Do you have stock body mounts or newer ones? I might have a couple of my used stock body mounts in the garage somewhere. PM me, I'm near Santa Monica.

Ben, you are the one who pointed it out- it's the stock mount right?

I do and I can get it off real easy, I thought you came up with one already. 10 bucks and I'll ship it to you.

I have not come up with one yet. You have the actual mount that is on the tub? The frame mount is there, just no body mount of any kind. I still don't know what happened to it in the first place or why someone would remove it and think it is okay not to have it.

If you have it I will send you a check today. thanks Stupidboy!

Here is a pic of the missing mount- maybe someone has the dimensions on it so I can fab one? I am a novice but it shouldn't be too hard if I cannot find a real one.

I just scrapped my last core support or I could have helped you out, but you can buy those parts at jbg or like that.

Ryan,

I don't have the metal body mount you are missing but I do have the an old rubber body mount [puck] that goes inbetween the frame and body mounts.

It's an old stock one BUT I really think you should take the opportunity to do a 1 inch body lift.

This will get you a new set of body mounts and hardware that are all the same height. If the mounts between the body and frame are not all the same height your doors and body will not align correctly making a door alignment impossible.

As far as the metal body mount you are missing, try this. I'm not sure but I think this is what you are missing.

Good luck!
