I'm a newbie and proud new Bronco owner!

After 10+ years of dreaming and searching, I found this all original, uncut '73 and just had to make her mine. She came to me by way of a private owner here in Charleston, SC that had it garaged for 10 years. He bought her off of eBay from a guy who found it in Oklahoma. Had it delivered late last week and can't wait to start doing the work to get her back on the road.

For now, I'll garage her until I can get at the floor pans, brakes, weather striping, and interior. Planning on going LUBER, 2.5" suspension lift, 1" body lift, on 31x10.5 and clear coat to protect the original paint and patina. Of course, I'll probably have to install new fuel lines, wiring harness, and brake lines too... there goes the honeymoon budget!

Yeah - I've noticed my price list starting to grow. I look forward to using the forums as a resource to prioritize the repairs/modifications.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to CB. There is a ton of info on here, become a contributor to post pictures. It only costs $12 a year which helps fund the site. Several of the members pretty much know every nut, bolt and wire on a bronco. Good luck with it. We are all about pictures. Post some of your rig.

Welcome, thanks for keeper her uncut. You'll find a wealth of info here on site. Have a great time with her. Start with the safety stuff first, drive her around and than start figuring out what you want to do from there.

Welcome to the site! I actually grew up in Augusta, GA and my first bronco and I spent many summers in Charleston and Seabrook Island. Talk about a great place to run around in a topless Bronco! You couldn't beat those beautiful southern belles away with a stick.

You have to become a contributer to post pics...membership is well worth the $12.

Welcome to the adventure!

- Thanks Banjer! Yeah, I'm looking forward to getting the Bronco out on the road and to the beaches. Love this town.

- You're welcome Muskrat and thanks for the great advice - I'm going to start with finishing the front disc brake conversion that the previous owner started (he didn't know to grind the knuckles), new brake lines, master cylinder probably needs updating as well. Then going to get the new gas tank hooked up (last owner never installed) & new fuel lines. Then I'll tackle the suspension. I'll post my wish list in a later post, because I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on the order and priority for the things I'd like to do.

Very nice...welcome to the rubber room...

- Thanks!

That thing will be sweet !

- Fingers crossed, thanks!

Welcome to the club!

- Thank you, glad I found you.

Welcome to the fun. Nice find.

- Thanks man!

Nice find and welcome. Is a working park brake on the list?

- Haha - yeah, along with working brakes and lines. Some floor pans too!

Very Nice Ride!!! Congrats & Welcome!! LUBR in your Future? Crawler? ;D

- Yup LUBR - thinking 2.5" suspension, 1"/2" body and 31"x10.5"tires. Going to try and keep the original paint too!
