Hey how's it going NoHay? We need a Bronco adventure together soon man.

Going good and loving retirement here in sunny Tucson. A Bronco adventure sounds great anytime. I've been getting to see all the good dirt biking areas here with Jefe's uncle and cousins. Looking forward to hitting the dirt with you, Jefe and the other Bronco fans. No lockers or fuel injection here though, so I may need a pull if we get carried away;D

I registered for Fords on Fourth so will see you there. Maybe drive in together?

Happy New Year!

If you like dirt bikes, Tucson is a good home for you man. There's lots of good trails that are carburetor friendly also, but I do have a good strap just in case.. Harold lead me out to Garner and fish canyon a couple weeks ago. It was beautiful and you could do it easy with your Bronco...

I'm all registered up for Fords on 4th as well. I believe we've got 5 from our group alone! Every year a few come down from Phoenix also. I like your idea of showing up together. Maybe we plan a meet up at Reid park and head over together so we can all be parked next to one another.

Happy new years to you and all the rest of you Bronco brothers

You're right paul. It's always been a pain figuring out where to air up, and go slow until I find a gas station.. I found this really cool YouTube video on a build it yourself CO2 tank, and just ordered all the parts to put it together. Looks like a nice set up!

Been using CO2 for over 10 years after I gave up on the Powertank due to multiple regulator failures and long delays for recertification (hydro test).

Pretty good video. I went a slightly different way. 20# tank from any weld supply place. They will swap you for a certified full tank for around $25. The 20# is pretty big. I usually fill my tank twice a year - spring and fall. I mount mine on the rear roll cage with a Weld shop bracket modified accordingly for my application. Weld shops do not deal with other tank sizes, but will fill your small one if it is within cert date.
Operation I have 35x12.5x15 tires and none of the others I wheel with are as fast as my CO2 setup. I am slightly faster than the York guys. The 4th tire fills about 1/3 as fast as the first one due to regulator icing. 12 psi to 28 these days. All regulators will ice some less than others. something to think about if you have to more than 4 tires. Takes a while to thaw the reg.
I currently use a goodyear hose the correct length to reach all 4 tires and leave my plastic coil one on the shelf in the garage. I don't like the kinking of the coil hose and I just find the so called rubber hose easier to deal with.

PBWCR thanks for the info man! I like you idea of the bigger one for a one for one swap (That's what I do with my welding CO2/Argon mix). I'll have to look into those mounting brackets, I ordered a rubber strap for the mean time.
