Introduction to the unicorn

Thank you for allowing me to join your community. Although I'm not sure my vehicle totally fits the criteria completely.
I found my " beast " on eBay Motors in August of this year and it was love at first sight, somehow I won the auction and brought home the prize. I not sure if prize is the proper word to describe what I brought home.
Unicorn is probably a more proper word, unfortunately when it was delivered it wasn't quite as it was described in the post on eBay motors. I was told that ran great and was used mostly on the weekend but what showed up on the trailer couldn't have been running for at least a year and had no registration, it was sold to me by someone in Texas and the title that came with it was from Utah and signed in 2008. So I'm still in the process of trying to have the title put into my name here in California and then tell that is completed I'm having to hold off on the work it needs to get running.
I say it's a unicorn because the undercarriage / drivetrain is from a 1971 Bronco, it has a three on the floor and a 351 Windsor power in it. But the body is from a 1963 Ford Falcon Ranchero. I don't know who originally built it but they had taken a 1971 Bronco frame and stretched it 15 in so that they could put the Falcon body onto it. It's one of the coolest things I've ever seen hopefully I'll get to post some pictures and you guys will agree it looks like it came from the factory and they never made a 1963 Ford Falcon Ranchero 4x4 so I guess you'd have to classify it as a unicorn. I just hope this is accepted by the community for what it is but it is definitely Bronco I'm thinking of changing its name to a bronchero. It's going to need a lot of love and attention and I'll have to figure out what is still Ranchero and what is Bronco now. It needs floor pans wherever there's Ranchero floor pans and it's going to need some wiring updated. So wish me luck and if you get a chance help me out when I have questions cuz I'm sure I'm going to have a bunch of them and thanks again for allowing me to join the community have a great day.

Can't wait to see it. I have a 65 ranchero that needs a drivetrain and have always liked seeing the 4x4 conversions that occasionally pop up.
