I took my 74 Bronco out this morning to take the kids to school. It has 93 Mustang EFI and a 69 351W. I did the EFI several years ago. I had not driven it for a while (Weeks) but I noticed it had a Bad gas smell to the exaughst. It usually smells a little rich at start up but gets better at warm idle. Today it didn't get any better. It has EGR on it but not connected. Is this just from sitting? I drove about 10 miles total. I have always thought it smelled a little rich but its worse now.... or maybe my memory is bad and its always smelled this rich....but really I think its worse. ANy ideas?

It could just be a little bad gas. I'd suggest driving it a bunch this week, get it nice and warm and see if it goes away. As always pull your codes and see if there's any O2 sensor issues. Mine smells like bad gas if it's been sitting for awhile, but it goes away after 30-40 miles.

I hope that's it. I don't drive it very often, my 66 is the daily driver because its way better on gas. I'll get some miles on it and see what happens.
