Well I’m in the middle of a 1300km round trip and happened to find this along the way. Just happened to be for sale and a trailer available. Bought it from the nicest guy I think I’ve ever met. He just kept throwing in new part after new part. I can’t gelp but feel that I completely stole this old girl. She’s a 74. Funny thing is, she’s the same color as my 65 mustang. Must have been fate!

Lucky score! Have you figured out what you want to do with it yet?
Congrats!

Great find and it seems that the previous owner was very comfortable with selling it to you. That will help him sleep at night for selling it.

Good question. I thought I did, but I’m kind of re-evaluating things now. I have a 75 that has no body that I was building many years ago. Unfortunately some circumstances lead to the body being taken to a salvage yard (long story, involves moving, multiple broken bones, etc). So now I have a 75 frame (and glove box door) with a rebuilt (10 years ago) 351w (set up to go FI with a lightning lower intake and explorer upper) and serpentine mated to a M5OD. I was thinking of putting these in the 74, but it came with a recently built 302 and 4 speed. I just don’t know if I should take the plunge on the efi swap or just sell that motor

The only thing it clearly needs is a suspension lift. It’s running a 3” body lift, which I’m not the biggest fan of, and no suspension lift. I’ll need to work the suspension to get rid of the lean so I may as well begin upgrading there.

Those wheels and tires look like junk. Just throw them on a pallet and send them my way. Otherwise nice score

Well it’s taken some time but we finally moved out of the city and I brought Bucky home today. I finally have somewhere with enough room to actually work on him.

Congratulations on the Bronco find and the great work space. Just curious, if you left the Mustang and the Bronco alone in there long enough, would you end up with a Pinto?
