All I've ever hit was a suicidal pigeon...... ;D

Mark David Manders has a song about a suicidal pigeon. OT, but you made me think of that

I hit a buzzard once, just squished him flat. It was kind of satisfying really. I've actually managed to never hit a deer. *crossing fingers that luck holds out*

You can buy "deer whistles" at hunt/outdoor supply stores, such as Woods and Water. They're just about 2-3 inches and can mount in a lot of inconspicuous places, as they come with "sticky mount". It acts like a dog whistle and warns the animal to get out of the way. I had some, until the garbage truck backed into me and I had my whole front end replaced, and they seemed to work.

I think those deer whistles are a scam, but then again, I never had them. The only things I do try and hit are opossums. Also I never seen or heard of Bigfoot walking on all fours. This is a huge joke now with all my friends…”hey I’m going to head home”, “okay, just watch for those deer, they’re suicidal.” I think they are just sooo attracted to the b-dog, they can’t help it. hehehe

I had about 6-8 deer cross the road in front of me last weekend after I was coming home from a long night with Mr bud. They jumped across the road and I slowed down to let them go. I got my speed back up and saw them running in the field to my right. Then they started back for my truck. So I stoped this time and let them go. It was like they were messing w/ me.... My hand almost went down to my 9mm.

Over the years I have probably hit 4 or 5 deer and had 2 hit me. So far not one of them has carried insurance.

I hit a Mormon once (they are all over the roads here) All I could find was a shredded white shirt and part of a tie! I guess he got up and ran away also. I went back about a year later and couldn't find any sign of the accident. I did leave a small dent in my Dana front cover. Ha Ha!!!

I like being up high too... gives a good view of the ladies in their cars :) If they catch you looking, you've caught them too - but I can't figure out if they're looking at me or the truck!
