As the OP stated, the economy is booming where he is located, and it is quickly made oil/gas money that people are just as likely to spend quickly too. If you price it at 20K, are honest about the issues, and someone is willing to pay that much, I say go for it.

I see no harm in trying to get maximum out of it while we all ride the price wave that Fast and Loud has created. It is a good looking truck that the next owner could put a 44 under no problem, so that is why you are selling it for 20K instead of 30K.

Get as much as you can but be honest while you sell it so that this forum doesn't have another "i got duped" thread by the next person who owns it.

Has the bronco on that show really affected the price of EB's?

Only if you're a rich owner of a boobie bar. ;D Let me just say that the 'price' was scripted into the TV show. What actually exchanged hands is between them. The whole thing was a setup from the beginning by a guy who saw an oppty to get some publicity for his place and have a rolling billboard to use as promotion. That in itself is probably worth more than the EB, or that is the hope. So, no.

Question... the biggest issue with the rig is without doubt the body damage. For about $750 I could install some rock skis and rock guards and have them painted silver and it would definitely come out looking amazing. The question is... is that unethical of me to do, even if I make sure to mention the reason they are there to any prospective buyers? I'm just thinking that if those two things weren't visible (even though still known) that someone would be willing to dish out more than the $750 I ended up spending on the parts, just because there isn't that eye sore hitting them in the face?

I think you'd be crazy not to list it for $22000 in your area. People are stupid flush with cash, and will "haggle" you down to $21990.

I know I have an extra fender flare for the rear, just not sure if it's PS or DS. Bronco Designs sent me a set & one had the smallest blemish in it. I asked Brian (owner of Bronco Designs) how I should repair it & he just sent out a replacement instead.

You can have it for S&H, if you want.

Yeah man that would be great, that's very kind of you. Does it look like the same one in my pictures? If it is for the driver's side then I'd be happy to put a check in the mail ASAP

Since you're asking, I'll say that what would concern me as the buyer, is what else is hidden under the shiny topcoat. A amateurish bodywork and prep job will end up an amateurish paint job, no matter who sprays the topcoat. Unless I was going to trail rig yours, I'd factor in a new strip/paint job into my offer. You saved money on the paint job doing it yourself. Here is where you pay the piper. BTW, I like your EB and think you should keep it!

Lol yeah you're right, that one's coming back around to bite me in the ass now! Lesson hard learned I suppose. Don't get me wrong I would love to keep it and redo the body right the second time around.. but I've taken a new perspective on life recently and I can just think of a million other things better to do with 20k at the moment. I love her though. She's been a real pleasure and there's no hard feelings or regrets with what I've done (other than the body work!)

I wouldn't do it. Full disclosure is best... so let the new owner decide if they want to cover it up, or like suggested above someone else may want to strip and paint.

For the price you're going to be asking, it's probably worth it to get all the little things taken care of. The non-working gauges, a front driveshaft, aligning the driver side wiper, etc. Those are all little things that IMO really drop the price.

My $.02 - mid to low teens.

Unfortunately quite a few things wrong and missing attention to detail in lot of places, 10k-15k actual selling price unless you get really lucky.
