these 12 ton stands extend to 31". Santa gave me these so i could install the BC adjustable radius arms i gave my self. sure beats two high lift jack i used last time i replace the 3.5 for 5.5 springs. ( dumb and scary)
Very nice. I have used a couple of house jacks for jack stands in high lift situations...they work equally well, are as stable or more so than other stands, and they can be cranked up or down as needed to level the work. They are rather large, must be 10 ton or so and have a stroke of 2'-4' or so.
