Alright guys, I need some help on instaling these Duff Urethane Flares (front and rear)......

The front fenders werent cut yet, so I cut them (after tracing flares where I wanted them and cutting about 1.5" below.... The rear was already cut so I just need to dril new holes for the rear.

Anyway, onto my problem....Take a look at these pics with the flares being held in place with the bottoms of the flares where they are "suppose" to go, which is flush with the bottom of the body, rear flare the body line on the Rear quarter is straight and flush with the line in the flare. :
Rear (yuk)

Front:

The rear sit too low (compared to the body line which is from top of flare to body line 3.4", and the front is like 2.2") cant move them up otherwise the bottom of the flare isnt flush with the bottom of the body. Also the flare slants down at the front.

The front is halfway decent....sits way high when compared to the rear, but you cant move it down otherwise the flare bottoms will be below the body....also the flare slants down (doesnt sit straight). And also the front of the front flare (last pic) doesnt come all the way down, which unfortunatly, I think is suppose to be like that...

Did anyone else run into any of these problems when installing the Urethane Flares from J.D.? (or any flares for that matter?). Any advide on fixing the problem to make them look right?

Nick~

I had the same problem, mostly with the rears. I trimmed the front edge ( of the rear flares) where it curves under the body, then just raised it until the top of the flare was parallel with the body line. Did the same with the front flares. The Bushwacker flares seem similar in that they slant down when installed as per directions. Just use a razor knife.

Concentrate on keeping the flare level with the body line first and the bottoms will fall into place with a little maneuvering and possible trimming ;)

It'll work!
