James Duff Vs. Wild Horses Power Steering Kit

Looking at these 2 kits and trying to decide between them. Duffs is closer in terms of shipping speed. Any major differences in the pump/box performance that anybody can speak on? Most posts are from about 10 years ago when I was going my research, so I wanted to get some more current info. I currently have a manual steering shaft so I like the fact that WH comes with the shaft, but the Duff kit comes with a U joint to make what I have work in the meantime. Any suggestions? I'd love to buy a 4x4x2 box but not looking likely with my timetable. Thanks for any advice!

Both kits use the same parts, so no difference in the boxes or pumps. Wildhorses includes around $400 worth of additional parts with the pulleys and lower shaft.

Both kits will require you to modify your existing steering shaft. The stock shaft is ¾" round stock, the u-joints with either kit will require you to cut to length and grind flats on the end to convert it to ¾"DD. Given that both will need that, I'd go with the WH kit.

Yeah, I already did something similar when i converted from the bell joint to the universal joint style steering connector.
