My son ordered the 5000-p 5.5 lift kit from duff, they're product description says it includes the parking brake cables.. they were not in the kit when it arrived at our house..$5000 including shipping..
Emailed Duff.. we're sorry those parts weren't in the kit our address is wrong and you'll have to pay 150.00 more to get them!...

That sucks.

Do you mean they are saying the kit doesn't come with them or they want to charge you that for shipping? Hard to understand what you mean about the address--did they ship to the wrong address or you gave them the wrong address and they shipped them there? If you gave them the wrong address then not sure you can totally blame them.

I pulled up the kit and if definitely says they are in there:

If it's all their fault, any chance you could contest part of the charge with your credit card company and get the cost of the cables back?

I mean, you shouldn't have to. If they failed to send you everything in the kit, they should have to pay

They messed up and want you to pay for their mistake? Damn, I hate these threads, but sometimes you gotta call a spade a spade. I'm getting closer to my front winch decisions and really liked their hidden setup. Things like this make me put them on the bottom of the list. Hopefully they can make this right and square away whatever issues they have going on over there.

doesn't make sense. if they accidently mispacked the kit i'm sure they'd make it right no charge. that's 100% on JD. tell us more.

Reach out to Tom Hyde at Lick Creek Restorations.

He designed and built their hidden design for them.

@teamsideways I'm curios what the outcome of this was? I'm hoping Duff stepped up and shipped the brake lines for free considering that's how the kit was originally advertised. I remember seeing this on FB and a screenshot of the email they sent back, confirming exactly what you are saying. Sad....

Wonder if this is just an AI customer service response. Try to get a human on the phone.

I'm betting it was the OP's error on address since he never responded to that question but would be nice to know for sure.
