DIY is short for "do it yourself". So my question was for people that have made their own Dana 20 twin sticks and how to attach the shifter to the linkage.
I would be curious about that. I guess it depends on what all equipment you have to work with. I spent $45 to have a machine shop build a brass bushing for a shifter about 2 weeks ago.
from my experience, in the long run your better to buy good quality built ones, and just install, unless you have a machine shop or a lot of spare parts, shifters etc...
I have fabricated them on a heap and bought from AA, when it came to the bronco my research led me to JBFab's product, I recommend them...
I have a J-shift, here is the thread of my install

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but if you're trying to connect the lower part of the shifter to the t-case rails, you can just use a couple of little heims and a piece of all-thread. I'd heat the bottom of the shifters red hot and pound them a little flat before drilling, but that's probably optional.
Is there some type of bearing joint, similar to a heim without side to side movement, that has two threaded ends. One thread for linkage, the other for the shifter, and the joint for the pivot
