I know this has been posted before BUT it happend to me

I pulled up to a stop light in the left lane next to a jeep with a comparable lift set up(6" with 35") so anyways I waited about 7 seconds and I glanced over and this guys eyes were glued to my bronco. He seen that I caught him staring then turned his head foward looking a little jealous. Now dont get me wrong my wife drives a grand cherokee (she stares at my bronco too) ;D I dont have nothing against jeepers. I cant cause my wife drives one

I get all sorts looking at mine and I often get stopped in parking lots when I walk into a store. As to Jeep people looking at EB's I have to admit that if a Jeep drove up next to me with 6" of lift and 35" tires I would probably have to look it over a bit.

I was stopped at a light one afternoon minding my own buisness, when I heard something that sounded kinda like a sewing machine fixing to self destruct. I ignored it only to hear it again. When I glanced to the right there was two kids in a stock appearing YJ covered in mud. After they saw they had my attention they revved a third time. Trying my best not to bust out in laughter, I simply reached out and tapped my ol' girls dash as I let them hear what a V8 with 1 chambers sounds like. They gave me a nod as the light changed knowing who's their daddy.

I don't understand why some people are confused by this. I've owned seven Jeeps (85 CJ7, 86 CJ7, 90 YJ, 94 XJ, 99 TJ, 01 XJ, 03 TJ) and a 73 Bronco and my current 71 Bronco. I've loved 'em all. ?:?

Nothing to be confused about. If I see I rig that is set up well then I will look it over. I don't care if it's a Ford, Jeep, International, Dodge, etc. and I'll even look over a Chevy once in awhile although not very often. (I think most of us do even though we have fun ribbing others about theirs) I've had a Jeep CJ5 and 3 different Scouts and all of them were very capable rigs. I do like my EB the most of all of them but I'm in an entirely different situation now where I can make it the way I want it where I often had to just dream about it with the others.

I have been in a similar situation, this tool around my age (17) drives up next to me in a stock jeep blasting Green Day from his speakers, I looked at him and he just put his head down.

Took mine out today, to get my new procomp mud terrains mounted. I was catching people starring left and right. Not too many early broncos left in the Northeast. Some people even think its some type of Hummer. %) . I get the thumbs up almost every time i drive it.

Yesterday stopped by construction I stopped window to window to a J**p. We had a great chat waiting for the traffic to clear.

I too will apreciate any nice rig but the thing that gets me boiling is when people say nice jeep. I say wear and look around with a confused look.
Every time I drive my bronco I always get odd looks and thumbs up. But mine doesnt look all that legal driving around on the 38's

A while back I went on a ride with 12 jeepers. I was the only non-jeep there. I was even running the smallest tire of the bunch with 36" TSL's. I got cracked on when we all meet at the beginning of the trail. I didn't want to say much back because I would hate to get out on the trail have problems and then really have to hear it. What I did was pick out the so called badass of the bunch and lined up behind him. It was a very capable jeep. CJ7 with a 401, T176 four speed and Dana 300 with 4to1's in it. 14 bolt rear and super duty 44 in the front riding on 42's. I got a nasty look from the mirror when I lined up but that was O.K. I fully intended on destroying the EB if need be to go anywhere he went. We came to the first rock climb and almost everyone was having trouble and pulling the winch. The big bad CJ driver proceeded to tell me the line he thought I should try because his line would probably be too much for me. Well after he broke a front axle from bouncing he winched on up and waited for me to try the path he had recommended...not. I didn't tell him but I've been doing this for many years and I could pick my own line...it just so happened to be the one he broke on. I had my co-pilot watch a rock that I wanted my right front tire to hit and once the Bronco picked up the left front and walked the line to the top...I got some respect.
