Hey everyone,

I am looking to get a new steering column that's chrome and found this one online. Any ideas if it will fit for a 74 bronco. Any help would be appreciated. It says it has a 32" length and I'm not sure what the stock ones are. I also have a new steering wheel that will fit this one. Figured it was a good price compared to the 1,000$ ones. Any help would be appreciated.

You said chrome, but the link I clicked on gave a bare steel column.
For some reason I can never remember the exact length needed, but I can tell you that a universal fit column does not just “fit“ a bronco without a lot of work.
You have to buy or make some kind of a clamp to hold it up under the dash, and buy a special firewall clamp and seal for the smaller 2 inch diameter. The factory one is slightly larger at, I think, 2 1/4 inches.

Then of course you will need the lower shaft.

Might be other stuff too but that’s enough to start.

Well it’s certainly a good price. And for that you have money left over to buy other stuff to make it work.
You say you already have a steering wheel that you know will bolt to that adapter? That would save you some trouble right there.

Watch the wiring Broncos had 2 different wiring. my understanding is most aftermarket wiring is based around chevy stuff so you may have to deal with wiring connectors and wire colors to mate the column to your bronco wiring harness. check before you buy.
