I sent you a pm, Dave but I thought I would post it here also. Mudd's place is fine by me. My 80 acres is pretty much flat prairie with a creek running through it. Lots of room to park Broncos and have a cookout on the back patio but not really any wheeling if that was a requirement. I will point out that we have a 27' above ground pool to splash in. A good friend of ours is developing a rock park 3 miles from us. It is only for scheduled events but I could see if he would let us spend a Saturday there. I will see what he thinks and post up his response.

June/July works for me as well. I will have to play it by ear as the Wife is due with Twins next month.

I would like to attend but I'd rather you guys set the date/place around your schedules and see how it works with mine.

(Lockwood would be a lot closer for me though, ;D)

I would vote for earlier in the summer to avoid as much heat as possible.

No wheeling at Mudd's, we did take just a short scenic drive through his back 40 one year, around the field, through a gulley! LOL.

See what your friend thinks, then we can get opinions.

It must be fate!

That's weird. That friend of mine starting the rock park just came in to the office. He said that as long as there are at least 10 rigs coming we can schedule a Saturday all for ourselves. Trail pass is $10. If someone is staying over or coming early they would have the option of camping at my place or there is a campground with full hookups a mile from the park. Go to his website "jonesmudfest.com" to find out more. He has a weekend event scheduled for July 16th if you all want to work this meet and greet into that activity. Check it out.

I bought my first EB back in September of last year; it has a lot of problems and it would be great to meet you guys and see how they are supposed to feel. Anytime after the first week in June is good for me.

Andy, I bought my first in September as well and honestly there were a few times when I questioned the wisdom of my purchase. Since getting a few bugs worked out early, it has been trouble free for 6 months of 60 mile per day back and forth to work. Now I am hooked.

I have some pretty funny stories in it already, including having to sleep in it in a police parking lot during the intial drive back from Alabama; but I'll leave those for the meet and greet!

Well it seems the census is to keep it around KC somewhere, Mudd said his place is fine, which is Oak Grove..!

We can give it a little longer to decide.

June 11th works.

I am glad June 5th was not picked as it would conflict with the Vintage Motorcycle Show downtown.
