Can someone help me identify this steering gear box? Both ports are M14 x1.5. Also, trying to figure out if I can use something other than a Banjo fitting on this box as it does not use an inverted flare.

Thanks for the help

That looks like a steering gear from a Nissan 4x4 truck/SUV box from the mid to late 90's.

1994 D21 Pickup
1998-1999 Frontier
1993-1995 Pathfinder
1995-1997 Pickup
2000 Xterra

I don't know about the fittings, but I believe you are correct that both ports were M14x1.5 straight thread for a banjo type fittings only. Could you use something like this from Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies to adapt to AN/JIC hoses? You could seal the fitting with a crush washer I would think, so the sealing surface on the M14x1.5 fitting end wouldn't matter.

Can likely use a crush washer with an AN fitting like Apogee's link. Use the washers used with the OEM banjo fittings if you have some or buy the size needed in copper. Ideally they will fit tight on the male threads of the adapter. If you have used washers that are not excessively grooved and/or bent they can be made dead soft again by heating them with a propane torch. Once they're slightly glowing the after-treatment doesn't matter, but I drop them in a Red Solo Cup full of water to make them easy to handle immediately.

My own preference is to convert into AN at the box or pump. Then hoses are fairly simple.

It was also used in early 2001 Nissan trucks. In mid '01 they changed suppliers to Delphi and the pressure fitting turned into an inverted flare fitting.
Since the frame is already modified for this box (I'm guessing) you should be able to do a direct swap. Steering shaft and pitman arm should both mate right up. Note that the steering boxes have 2 different sector shafts. The 4WD uses the large shaft. The small tire (coil spring suspension) 2WD uses the small shaft. But not all 2WD, the torsion bar suspension is the same as the 4WD. Then there is a Jeep sector shaft that can be swapped in and use a stock Bronco pitman arm.
Oh, you may have to shave the bolt holes up a hair to fit the SAE bolts into the metric holes.
